Condenser Coil 

The purpose of the condenser coil is to allow heat from the refrigerant to escape to the outdoor environment. The condenser fan blows air over, removing heat from the refrigerant. When the gas temperature falls, it goes through a phase change from a gas to a liquid state using expansion valves that open when the pressure drops to assist in transporting refrigerant back into the indoor unit. 

Expansion Valve 

The condenser has cooled, but not enough for the refrigerant to re-enter the evaporator coils. However, because of its reduced pressure due to the expansion valve, which regulates pressure, the refrigerant adequately cools to re-enter the evaporator coil because it has cooled, and decreased pressure caused by the expansion valve. 

Air Filter 

The air filter for your central air conditioner is usually connected to the system’s air handler. An air filter’s purpose is to eliminate any particles or germs flying through the air in your house. Additionally, a clogged air filter might accelerate the deterioration of your air conditioner, so check and replace your system’s filters once a month to once every three months.
